The letters JBS stand for Jens Bjerg Sørensen, the man who started the company back in 1939, and who took it to its current position as Denmark’s leading and best-known underwear label. 

 

Jens Bjerg Sørensen was, in many ways, ahead of his time and had an unusually well-developed flair for marketing and sponsorship.
